What to pitch

Propose an original article with one central question or idea. It might explain a clothing detail, compare two style choices, examine a useful visual principle or explore the context behind a dress custom. Tell us what a reader will understand or be able to consider after reading it, and why the subject suits Lively Style Review.

What makes a strong proposal

Keep the pitch focused and specific. Include a working title, a short summary, the main points you would cover and any sources or expertise the piece would rely on. Explain which assumptions the article will avoid and how it will respect differences in personal taste, body, budget and setting. We do not need a completed draft with an initial proposal.
